Who can book an event and when ?

What’s your capacity and how long do I get to stay?

You can reserve a table or an area for small groups for semi private hire for an hour to half a day if wished and full capacity is 110.
For an exclusive hire during the evening, our licence is until 1am.

Can I bring my own food and drinks ?

We offer a delicious and brilliantly priced food and drinks menu and cater onsite only. If you have a theme, or a particular cuisine in mind please speak with us and we can discuss with the Head Chef and his team.

How about bringing in a birthday cake ?

Yes absolutely fine, although why bring one in when we can provide!

What about music ?

We have a built in DJ booth area and we can provide CDJ’s.
If you would like to bring in your own music system, lighting, band, let’s chat and see what tec is needed and we can explain our H&S policies.
Use of our equipment is charged in the hire fee.

Can we decorate?

Absolutely!  Let’s discuss this first though just to cover any H&S policies.

Is there anything we can’t do?

We will go through our full policies but in short, to keep you and us safe;
we do not allow smoking inside the venue no alcohol can be served or drunk by guests under 18 no illegal substances of any kind are allowed and the Lagoon is out of bounds!

Sounds Great! How much will it cost?

We are community focused and we have worked hard to keep our costs down.
There is a minimum spend on food and drink depending on what type of event and number of people.

Why do I pay a hire fee ?

Opening the cafe outside of normal operating hours or closing the cafe during normal operational hours incurs charges and or loss of revenue.

We charge a very reasonably priced hire fee to cover staffing, which can sometimes include security and a first aider, additional cleaning costs and use of our av.
